Silet Confessions Poem

Silent Confession

The way she said silly,

Get the small hints I give you regularly,

Her voice so sweet, it touched my heart truly,

While my heart caressed, it dropped a beat certainly.

I thought her words were meant for me,

A glimmer of hope, a possibility,

But my joy was short-lived, you see,

When the person next to me smiled and said with glee,

"I was waiting for you to confess these little things,

For I am the one she adores and sings,

Her heart belongs to me, as she clings,

To the love we share, like two birds on wings."

I felt a pang of sadness in my heart,

As I realized we were worlds apart,

My love for her, just a one-sided art,

While she had already given her heart.

But I will always cherish the memory,

Of the way she said silly, so lovingly,

And though it may not have been meant for me,

It will forever be a part of my poetry.
